Consolidated Precision Products seeks a Process Engineer to support Aerospace & Defense programs within our Engineering & Design team. You will develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for complex precision components, driving improvements in quality, yield, and throughput. Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, process validation, PFMEAs, tooling and fixture design input, and data-driven continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma). You will collaborate closely with design, quality, and operations to industrialize new products, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support a culture of teamwork, innovation, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for aerospace components
  • Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and yield issues
  • Conduct PFMEAs, capability studies, and process validations to meet aerospace standards
  • Collaborate with design, quality, and operations to industrialize new products
  • Contribute to tooling and fixture requirements for improved manufacturability
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Monitor key process metrics and implement data-driven improvements
  • Ensure processes comply with AS9100 and relevant customer/industry requirements
  • Create and maintain clear work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Support cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation
