**** On a given day, you may:
*** Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse.
* Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures regarding picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
* Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile any discrepancies.
* Coach, mentor, and train all warehouse team members.
* Conduct performance management evaluations, time keeping, and corrective action of warehouse team.
* Responsible for being the primary point of contact for internal customers pertaining to warehouse operations.
* Schedule and manage warehouse team members within budget while meeting the demands of the department.
* Assist in creation and implementation of process improvement initiatives within the department.
* Obtain powered industrial equipment certification.
* Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area.
* Responsible for reporting safety hazards and implementing new standards as needed.
* Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
* Oversee transportation of all out bound shipments.
* Other duties as required as directed by the Warehouse Inventory Control Manager.
** Requirements for the role:
*** High school diploma or GED required.
* 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse or distribution environment.
* 5+ years warehouse/distribution experience.
* Ability to professionally communicate with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining polite and calm when dealing with customers and coworkers.
* Ability to problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
* High level of attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Positive attitude and a strong sense of urgency.
* Desire to seek and implement process improvement initiatives.
* Experience with various computer applications.
* Dedication to safety throughout all job responsibilities.
