Receiving & Inventory Team Manager

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per year + 4 weeks PTO and full benefits

The Receiving & Inventory Team Manager leads daily inbound receiving operations and maintains rigorous inventory control standards across all operational shifts. This role exists to ensure overall inventory accuracy, streamline receiving processes, and build a high-performing logistics team.

• Execute daily receiving and inventory control plans across all operational shifts while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Assign and adjust daily staffing and resource allocation based on inbound shipment volume and inventory priorities
• Track key operational metrics, including receiving accuracy, staging efficiency, and inventory precision
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, training, and performance feedback to shift leaders and team members
• Lead daily shift huddles and handover meetings to align operational priorities across all shifts
• Resolve routine inventory mismatches, receiving discrepancies, and workflow bottlenecks
• Document shift status, inventory variances, and handover notes for ongoing process accountability
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and quality assurance teams to streamline cross-functional workflows

This position reports directly to the Director of Production. Leadership responsibilities include overseeing a 3rd shift receiving supervisor, a day shift team captain, and shift operators across all production hours.

• Possess hands‑on experience in receiving, inventory control, and warehouse management operations
• Demonstrate strong leadership and team‑building skills with a focus on coaching and employee development
• Exhibit proficiency in tracking operational metrics and enforcing accuracy standards
• Show strong problem‑solving skills to resolve workflow bottlenecks and inventory discrepancies
• Display excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross‑shift handovers and team meetings
• Maintain a thorough commitment to safety, compliance, and quality control procedures
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional departments like procurement and quality
