Overview
Electrician (Contract) – Bracknell (40 hours/week)
Job Type: Contract (Initial 12-week temporary contract, with an opportunity to go permanent) |
Location:
Bracknell & surrounding areas | Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour (Umbrella) | Contract Length: 2 weeks (initial assignment; then continues as per the initial 12-week temporary contract)
- Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations
- Conducting fault finding, testing, inspection, and remedial works
- Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards
- Diagnosing electrical faults and providing effective solutions
- Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Accurately completing job sheets and maintenance records
- Liaising professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues
- Ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) is desirable
- Previous experience in maintenance, housing, or facilities environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
