Are you an experienced Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer or Construction Plant Mechanic looking for your next opportunity?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Mobile & Workshop Plant Fitter to join their team, maintaining and repairing a large fleet of construction equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on engineer with experience working on plant machinery who enjoys fault‑finding, carrying out repairs and keeping essential equipment operating efficiently.
The RoleAs a Mobile & Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a varied fleet of construction plant machinery, working across both mobile and workshop-based environments.
The fleet includes:- Excavators ranging from 800kg to 14 tonnes
- Dumpers, including tracked dumpers and machines up to 9 tonnes
- Telehandlers
- Rollers
- Other construction plant and equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance and servicing of construction plant machinery
- Diagnose faults and undertake mechanical repairs
- Identify and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently
