Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production workflows to identify and implement process improvements
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Provide advanced technical support to production teams to resolve complex manufacturing issues
- Lead cross-functional projects related to process improvements, equipment installation, and capacity expansion
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Specify, evaluate, and support the installation of manufacturing equipment and tooling
- Collaborate with vendors and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
- Utilize data analytics to monitor throughput, production time, scrap rates, and OEE
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent years of directly related professional experience in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or a related role
- Experience in process improvement and production optimization
- Experience managing capital expenditure projects
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related role
- Experience in high-speed, high-volume or complex manufacturing environments
- Experience with reliability programs
- Project management capability
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial equipment and automation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of safety and ISO quality standards
- Manufacturing facility with large scale production line and smaller operational cells.
- Primarily based in a manufacturing/production environment with some work being performed in an office setting.
- Occasional travel may be required to visit job sites, customer shops, and supplier operations.
- May require off-hours support during critical equipment issues or project execution on rare occasions.
