Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist
The Clinical Nurse Practitioner role oversees infusion services in our ambulatory infusion centers. Expect working hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional Saturdays, and the primary location is Eastman, GA with potential float to other clinics.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and hold an active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
- Experience in a family physician setting with strong knowledge of chronic disease states and current and emerging therapies.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficient with partner programs such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, change, and pressure while maintaining calm professionalism.
- Team‑oriented mindset and ability to develop productive, cooperative working relationships with all Palmetto Infusion team members.
- Collaborate with nurses and other providers (NPs/MDs) across PIS.
- Perform nursing functions as required while acting as a provider.
- Oversee infusions administered in ambulatory infusion centers.
- Travel to other AICs to provide coverage when needed.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, talking, and hearing.
- Extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, driving, or riding in transport vehicles.
- Occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Required vision abilities include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential for communication with patients, vendors, and staff.
