Auto Care Center Coach

Position Summary

What you’ll do:

Drives sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring effective presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and appropriate inventory levels; budgeting and forecasting sales, assessing economic trends and community needs, and ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved and implementing plans to correct deficiencies. Provides customer service by acknowledging the customer, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting products and services while maintaining a safe environment, creating and processing orders, explaining products and services, ensuring technicians are trained and certified, staging customer vehicles, and assisting workflow as necessary.

Maintains the sales floor and service area by stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up displays, signing and pricing merchandise, securing fragile and high‑shrink items, maintaining equipment, handling claims and returns, zoning and arranging supplies, and monitoring environmental disposal and OSHA compliance. Coordinates job‑related activities, develops relationships with stakeholders, supports plans to meet customer and business needs, communicates goals and objectives, builds accountability, measures progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and promotes continuous learning.

Supervises and develops associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset. Ensures compliance with company policies and the Walmart values, supports the Open Door Policy, and promotes integrity, collaboration, talent development, and self‑less service, always putting customers first and using data to make balanced decisions. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

• Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
• Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges)

This job has an additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.

• 2 years experience in automotive service or service industry field.
