Bus Monitor
Must complete a background check before being approved.
- Finger prints
- Be punctual at all times
- Your hours of work 6:30‑8:30 AM, 1:45‑4:30 PM
- Have a good attitude
- Dependability: always ride your whole route
- Call and talk with supervisor when you are going to be late for work or if you are going to be out all day
- Communicate with Director of Transportation, Secretary of Transportation, and Bus Driver
- Safety classes are mandatory for everybody
- Annual Evaluation for all employees
- Monitoring the students on your bus in a safe manner
- Loading and unloading the wheelchair to assist the driver and work together for the safety of the students on the bus
- It's a must that you can lift your students (all weight and sizes). If you cannot, please let your supervisor know
- You must meet the bus at the shop, because of insurance policy
