Description
Receives and unloads incoming materials, compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment, and may process return shipments from customers.
Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and logs inventory that is shipped or received.
Inspects shipments for damages or defects, records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
Wraps parts and prepares orders for shipping.
May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
Must be able to frequently lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing to learn to drive a forklift.
Skills and AbilitiesEducation:
High School Graduate or GED – Required.

1+ years in Shipping and Receiving.
