Hours:

15 hours per week. Schedule is 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday when school is in session for students. It is a 180-day work schedule each school year.

Start Date:

Immediate opening.

Salary and Benefits :
In accordance with the paraprofessional bargaining unit contract. Starting pay rate is $17.00/hour.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

* High School diploma

* Experience working with young children

* Sensitivity to the needs of young children

Responsibilities:

* Supervising students (Grade 1 - Grade
5) for safety and appropriate behavior on the playground and/or in a classroom setting for indoor recess

* Helping students resolve minor conflicts with their peers

* Observing student behavior

* Consistently circulating the playground area (or classroom) to observe student interaction
