Tutor ($30.00 per hour Contractor)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requrements include an Associate's Degree or passing score on the Para Pro. Maryland teacher certification preferred.
REPORTS TO:
Principal
JOB GOALS:
Provide high-dosage tutoring in reading or math
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Implement appropriate individual and/or small group tutoring in reading or mathematics using approved tutoring program materials.
* Collect required data for assigned tutoring program to monitor student progress.
* Work with school-based leaders and curriculum supervisors to ensure the quality of program implementation.
* Participate in professional learning as needed for effective program implementation.
* Demonstrate caring, emphatic, relationship building skills to foster student success.
* Adhere to all TCPS policies and procedures as well as school protocols.
* Act in a professional and collegial manner in all situations with students and staff.
