School Counselor
School Counselor provides academic and emotional support to elementary school students, collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to promote healthy development and well-being. The role ensures safe, inclusive learning environments and addresses social and behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide academic and emotional support to elementary school students to promote healthy development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement counseling programs tailored to student needs.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address social, behavioral, and emotional issues.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in student safety and crisis intervention activities as required.
- MD Counselor License (required)
- Minimum 1 year experience in counseling or related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Background check required
- Ability to work with elementary school students
- Availability for dayshift hours
- Physical ability to engage with students in person
