Special Education Teacher | Easton, Maryland

Shape the educational journey of young learners as a Special Education Teacher serving an elementary caseload for the 2026–2027 school year (August 24, 2026 – June 14, 2027). This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students in reaching their academic, behavioral, and social goals. Your expertise will be vital in designing individualized learning experiences, delivered in either inclusive classrooms or specialized settings in line with each student’s needs.

Key

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland Special Education License
• School-based experience is preferred
• Demonstrated skills in communication, collaboration, and classroom management
• Talent for differentiating instruction to support diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide targeted instruction in both general education and pull-out environments
• Partner with general educators, administrators, service providers, and families to ensure holistic student support
• Track progress, maintain detailed documentation, and actively participate in IEP meetings
• Nurture a positive and inclusive classroom culture that empowers all students
