What you’ll need to succeed:

• Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching License

• Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and classroom management

Your day-to-day will include:

• Delivering specialized instruction based on each student’s IEP
• Collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as needed
• Engaging with parents and guardians to foster student success
• Participating in team meetings and professional development to enhance your instructional practices
