Position: Special Education Teacher 36-week Contract *Up to 55/hr

Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher on a 36-week contract in Easton, Maryland. Responsible for supporting elementary and high school students with disabilities, managing caseloads, and implementing individualized education plans within general education settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized support to elementary and high school students with disabilities, including OHI, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairment.
Manage a caseload of approximately 10-15 students, delivering services primarily inside general education settings.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success.
Document student progress and communicate effectively with team members and families.
Maintain compliance with all state and district regulations related to special education services.

Qualifications:

Certified Special Education Teacher.
1+ years of experience in special education, with skills in OHI, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairment.
Experience managing caseloads in indoor general education settings.
Ability to work 37.5 hours per week during day shift.
Reliable, team-oriented, and strong communication skills.
Background check required.
Flexibility to serve elementary and high school students.
