Graduate Electrical Engineer – Power & Utilities

Are you a recent Electrical Engineering graduate looking to start your career in the power and utilities industry with extensive training and long-term progression?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established and growing utility where you'll work directly alongside experienced engineers and gain hands-on exposure to electrical distribution, substations, high-voltage systems, power generation, and major infrastructure projects.

With continued growth and construction across the region, they are investing heavily in their electrical infrastructure, including new substations and distribution expansion.

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you'll work alongside the Electrical Manager, engineering team, and field crews across a mixture of design, construction, and maintenance projects, giving you broad exposure from the start of your career.

This position suits an Electrical Engineering graduate looking to develop into a well-rounded Engineer and progress into senior positions within a company known for excellent employee retention and internal promotion.

The Role
  • Support electrical distribution design and engineering projects.
  • Gain exposure to substations and high-voltage systems up to 69kV.
  • Assist with new construction, system expansion, and maintenance projects.
  • Receive ongoing training with clear opportunities for career progression.
The Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Interest in power systems, utilities, substations, or electrical distribution.
  • EIT advantageous but not essential.
  • Looking for training and long-term career progression.
