We’re looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Patient Concierge / Sterilization Technician to join our growing team! This unique hybrid position combines front office excellence with hands‑on clinical support to ensure every patient receives the best care possible.
WhatYou’ll Do Front Office / Patient Concierge Duties:
- Greet patients and serve as the welcoming face of our practice.
- Schedule and confirm appointments accurately in Open Dental.
- Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and post payments.
- Communicate effectively with patients and providers via phone, email, and in person.
- Provide information about procedures, paperwork, and financing options.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
- Support a positive patient experience through empathy and professionalism.
- Sterilize instruments and prepare procedure trays for treatment.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment (autoclave, ultrasonic cleaner, etc.).
- Clean, organize, and restock treatment rooms and supplies.
- Assist dental assistants and the Endodontist as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a team-first attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the dental field.
- Experience in a dental or medical office preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
Open Dental experience a plus. - High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s degree preferred.
