This full-time, school-based contract role begins in early October and continues through the end of December, offering you a chance to build connections and inspire growth over a focused period. Key qualifications and desired background:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in pediatric and/or school-based settings
- Knowledge of assessment tools and IEP management
- Strong organizational skills and collaborative approach
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough student assessments and interpret evaluation data
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Lead and participate in IEP and staff meetings
- Deliver direct therapy to K-2 students, tailoring sessions to individual needs
- Communicate progress with staff and caregivers in a professional and supportive manner
- Maintain detailed documentation for each student within contract hours
