A community-focused grocery store in Talbot County is seeking a dependable Part-Time Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Clean and sanitize store floors, restrooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
• Dust and wipe down shelves, counters, and other surfaces
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management
• Assist with occasional setup or breakdown of store displays as needed

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks

• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and reach for extended periods
• Capacity to handle repetitive cleaning tasks in a fast-paced environment
