American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit night shift position with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital environment
• Adult and geriatric patient population with complex, multi-diagnosis cases
• Patient ratio of 1:5, up to 6 for lower acuity
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30), with both 36 or 48 hour work weeks available
• Every other weekend required, with 4 weekends in a 4-week schedule cycle
• Holiday coverage as scheduled
• Floating required within specialty, to lower acuity units, and to a sister location as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Responsible for providing care to high-volume, fast-paced telemetry patients with varied and complex health conditions
• Orientation and CPI training provided onsite during onboarding
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Holiday coverage scheduled as part of regular rotation

• Current MD or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years' recent telemetry nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLs), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• CPI certification will be completed on site during orientation as part of the health system onboarding
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric telemetry patients
