03/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks.
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30). Hours per week:
Choice of 36 or 48 hours. Every other weekend required. Block scheduling available.

Yes – within specialty, lower acuity units and sister facility (Chestertown) as needed - Call requirement:

- Provide continuous telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias.
- Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips per protocol.
- Manage IV insulin and heparin protocols.
- Perform IV therapy including peripheral lines, PICC lines, central line care, and port access.
- Administer blood products and cardiac medications safely.
- Care for patients post cardiac angiogram, post-MI, and pre/post cardiac catheterization including TR Band management.
- Provide respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, oxygen therapy, ABG interpretation, and chest tube management.
- Manage patients with CVA, CHF, respiratory failure, renal failure and stroke.
- Perform wound care and maintain isolation precautions as required.
- Document all assessments and interventions accurately in Epic EMR.
- Active Maryland RN License or Compact License (required at submission).
- Minimum 2 years Telemetry experience and travel experience required (first‑time travelers accepted).
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, CPI (completed onsite during orientation).

Telemetry – . - Patient ratios: 1:5 (up to 1:6 with lower acuity).
- Population:
Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. - Diagnoses:
Cardiac dysrhythmias, CHF, respiratory failure, pneumonia, stroke, complex multi‑diagnoses. - Daily census:
High census; fast‑paced unit.

Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted.
