ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract in Easton, MD. Requires 2+ years ICU experience and an active Maryland or Compact RN license. - Location: Easton, MD 21601 — Easton, Maryland travel nurse opportunity
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1850 - $1950 per week
- Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) — critical care nursing job
- Contract Length: 10 weeks
- Start Date: March 23, 2026
- Shifts: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:30), 36 hours per week
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
- Holiday Coverage: As scheduled
- Patient Ratio: 1:2 (up to 1:3 with low acuity, rare)
- Unit Size: 10 beds, average daily census of 8
- Floating: Required within specialty and to sister facilities as needed
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required — critical care nurse experience preferred
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license (must be active at time of submission)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
- First-time travel nurses accepted with strong critical care experience
- Comfortable floating within ICU specialty and to lower acuity units
- References: 2 satisfactory professional references (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN)
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Must live at least 50 miles from facility
- Compliance documents due 5 days prior to start
- CCRN preferred but not required — helps with ICU nursing job searches
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric ICU patients as a critical care nurse
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients using advanced equipment (e.g., Flo Trac/Vigileo, IABP, PA lines, CVVHD/CRRT, ventilators, EVD, Arctic Sun)
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and administer emergency medications
- Perform phlebotomy, wound care, and manage central/PICC lines, ports, and arterial lines
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal, post-cardiac interventions, and post-craniotomy care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, PT, pharmacy, and social services
- Maintain strict infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions
- Float to other units within scope as needed
