Travel ER RN – 13-week contract starting April 6, 2026. Rotating night-focused 12-hour shifts on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Job Details – Travel Nurse | Emergency Department RN- Location: Easton, Maryland (21601) — Talbot County, Eastern Shore
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse (Emergency Room RN)
- Start Date: April 6, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shifts: Rotating night/evening shifts (primary need: night)
- 3x12-hour (19:00–07:30 or 15:00–03:30)
- 4x12-hour shifts may be accepted based on department needs
- Hours per Week: 36–48
- Unit / Patient Population: Emergency Department (ED) — all ages: infant to geriatric
- Weekend / Holiday: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
- Floating: Required within ED specialty and to sister facilities (Cambridge, Chestertown, Queenstown)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,000–$2,110/week
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience (ED nursing, triage, acute care)
- Active RN license in Maryland or compact state (Maryland travel nursing candidates encouraged)
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only); NIHSS; CPI (CPI may be completed during onboarding)
- Epic EMR / Epic charting experience required
- Previous charge nurse or charge experience required
- Community hospital experience required (ED/acute care setting)
- 2 professional references required (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN)
- Must be willing to float within the ED specialty and to sister facilities
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- NRP and TNCC preferred
- Locals must reside at least 50 miles from facility
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy ED
- Perform triage, rapid assessment, and treatment for a wide range of acute and complex diagnoses (trauma, cardiac, respiratory, stroke)
- Manage patient ratios of approximately 1:4 (may be up to 1:5 with lower acuity)
- Administer emergency medications, IV therapy, blood products, and procedural sedation
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, perform and interpret EKGs, and respond to STEMI and stroke alerts
- Care for ventilated patients, manage central lines, and perform phlebotomy
- Apply appropriate isolation precautions and PPE; follow infection control best practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
- Float to other ED locations within the health system as needed (Cambridge, Chestertown, Queenstown)
- Document all care accurately and timely in the Epic EMR system
