    Based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), including a tax-free stipend to be determined.
Schedule

This role is primarily a day shift, with varying 8-hour and 10-hour shifts scheduled between 07:00-15:30 and 07:00-17:30. The unit operates 07:30-20:30; shifts may be scheduled at any time within these hours. Every other weekend shift and on-call availability is required, including call on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
  • Provide discharge instructions and education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Active RN license in Maryland or a compact license.
  • Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a PACU or similar setting.
  • Experience with the Epic charting system preferred.
  • Previous charge experience required.
