Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring MD or compact RN license and 2 years of ER experience.

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• CPI certification completed on-site during onboarding
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required

• Fast-paced, high volume general emergency department treating combined adult and pediatric populations
• Patient ratio of 1:4, up to 1:5 for lower acuity patients
• Wide range of complex diagnoses spanning pediatric through geriatric populations
• STEMI and Stroke certified facility
• Rotating Day/Mid shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00-19:30 or 11:00-23:30), primarily days with possible mid-shift rotation as needed
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within specialty and to other sister SRH EDs as needed
• No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
• Provide emergency care across a wide range of complex, multi-diagnosis cases from pediatric through geriatric patients
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of offer, as the department cannot accommodate RTO during holiday weeks
