This is premier high-end liquor store dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and a curated selection of premium spirits.
Position SummaryAs a cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and memorable shopping experience for our discerning clientele. You will be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and professionally.
- Provide knowledgeable assistance in selecting products, offering recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Cash Handling:
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
- Reconcile daily cash and credit card transactions.
- Adhere to all cash handling procedures and security protocols.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Store Maintenance:
- Keep the sales floor and cashier area clean and organized.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
- Product Knowledge:
- Develop a strong understanding of our product line, including spirits, wines, and beers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product releases.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing a premium experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and calculating sales.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with liquor laws.
