EAS Easton, MD. The largest EAS laboratory with more than 100 scientists servicing multiple portfolios is the center for our biological, toxicology, chemistry, and environmental fate contract research for North America. Successful candidates would be part of a large diverse team collaborating to deliver high‑quality research to key markets. Located on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay, this historic small town has a high quality of life with easy access to major cities such as Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis.

Compensation: USD 55,000 – USD 75,000 per year. Full‑time.

Eurofins Agroscience Services is seeking a candidate to fill a position of Scientist to work with our Environmental Fate Department.

• Conduct studies to assess persistence and behavior of chemicals in the environment, including biodegradation of organic chemicals, bioaccumulation in fish, hydrolysis, phototransformation, and partitioning in soils and sediments. Experience performing metabolite identification.
• Design and supervise experiments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Serve as an expert for technical issues for staff and customers.
• Perform data evaluations, review the work of others, and write technical reports.
• May serve as a primary business contact for clients.

• Knowledge of Environmental fate and chemistry.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

• A Bachelor’s Degree plus at least eight years’ experience in the environmental fate field, M.S. with a minimum of five years’ experience, or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• GLP study director or project management experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with overtime required as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
