EAS:
Testing for Life

Easton, MD – the largest EAS laboratory with more than 100 scientists servicing multiple portfolios, the center for biological, toxicology, chemistry, and environmental fate contract research for North America. Located on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay with easy access to Washington, DC, Baltimore and Annapolis.

Eurofins Agroscience Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician to work with our Chemistry departments.

• Completes work for research and development under cGMP and/or GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc.
• Assists in conducting, monitoring and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.
• Provides basic analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments.

• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, environmental studies, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a comparable degree with related coursework.
• In rare cases, comparable demonstrated competence and experience in the relevant area may substitute for the Associate’s degree.
• Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00am‑5:00pm, with overtime required as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
