The Office of Student Engagement is looking for a motivated Stonehill student to work as the Intern for the 2026 – 2027 academic year. The student will work up to 8 hours a week in the office, developing and implementing a variety of initiatives and projects to further engage our student community. There is some flexibility with work hours outside 8:30 am-5 pm, but at least four (6) hours a week must be in the office.

This is a paid hourly position, and students must have federal work-study to be eligible. An ideal candidate has student involvement and/or leadership experience, is a creative thinker, and has the excitement to better the Stonehill student life experience!

  • Ensure the Guidebook is up-to-date with events.
  • Support student organizations by assisting in the following areas:
  • Updating details in the master student organization sheet.
  • Updating details on myHill.
  • Communicating with clubs to update and edit their event information on 25

    Live.
  • Research and create a master list of Stonehill campus traditions.
  • Coordinate at least two Meet & Go events per semester.
    • Meet & Go events are coordinated meeting times before events where students would meet in one place and then go to an event together.
  • Plan at least 1-3 late-night weekend events per semester – these events happen between 10:00 pm-1:00 am.
  • Assist in programming OSE events as needed.
    • Attend and work the Student Engagement table at Skyhawk Welcome Days, as needed.
  • Assist in creating, coordinating, and implementing a variety of campus programs and traditions, including the Commencement Eve Reception, Family Weekend, and the Spring Activities Fair.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Office of Student Engagement and the campus community.
  • Provide excellent customer service to anyone utilizing the services provided by the Office of Student Engagement.
  • Attend weekly 1:1 meetings with supervisor and weekly OSE Staff meeting.
  • Assist with presentations, planning of events, and communications within the First-Year Experience (FYE) Program.
  • Serve as a Transfer Student Welcome Leader and assist with program planning as needed.
  • Coordinate mentor check-ins and events for the OK Mentorship program.
