Southeastern Regional Technical Vocational High School seeks a passionate and dedicated
Long-term Substitute to teach High School Physical Education.
Preferred Licensure:
Physical Education 5-12
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree.
* Valid Massachusetts teaching licensure in Physical Education.
* Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage learner-centered, student-owned educational experiences in physical health in the gym and the Fitness Center.
* Create a classroom environment of high expectations that is safe, supportive, and inclusive.
* Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to support and differentiate learning.
* Assess and monitor student progress; provide timely and constructive feedback.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents/families, and colleagues.
