- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with metallography, mechanical testing, SEM, EDS, and LIBS.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly through written reports and presentations.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15% to support materials-related activities.
- Advanced degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science.
- Experience with NACE/AMPP corrosion guidance and industry best practices relevant to oil and gas, fire protection, and industrial service environments.
- Experience supporting casting, forging, machining, heat treatment, coating, or welding operations.
- Familiarity with ASTM, AWWA, ISO, and AMPP/NACE standards.
- Previous experience mentoring or technically guiding others.
This position is based at Victaulic's World Headquarters in Easton, PA and involves significant hands-on laboratory work, collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams, and periodic domestic or international travel (approximately 15%)
