About this Role

Join Sideline Swap as a Trade-In Event Assistant and help to power the circular economy of sports!

In this role, you will have the ability to impact many aspects of Sideline Swap's Trade-In Events, where customers can trade-in their old sports gear in return for store credit. As a Sideline Swap Trade-In Assistant, you'll receive experience in the following areas: event management, customer service, account management, sales & marketing, and retail analytics.

Requirements include (but not limited to):
  • Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of Sideline Swap Trade-In events at partner retail locations
  • Photograph items to capture key details for the purpose of e-commerce
  • Serve as the face of Sideline Swap at Trade-In events and help to deliver the best customer experience possible
  • Evaluate sporting goods using our value guide and trade-in technology
  • Learn inventory management system to ensure proper distribution of items at events
  • Other duties as they arise

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership characteristics (team captains, project management, etc)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Preferred (but not required): retail experience, customer service experience, or event coordination
  • Valid driver's license
  • Available to work on weekends
  • An interest or background in sports is preferred
