Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (Site-Based) +$0.25/hour Military Differential

KRE Security, LLC is seeking professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officers for per diem school assignments throughout the Allentown area. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing officers to accept shifts based on availability while supporting safe and structured school environments.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income, flexible work, or consistent school-based assignments without a fixed schedule requirement.

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence within school environments
• Monitor entrances, hallways, and common areas
• Support a safe and orderly learning environment
• Respond to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
• Document activity and complete daily reports
• Follow school policies, procedures, and post orders
• Communicate effectively with school staff, administration, and supervisors

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable attendance when accepting assignments
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must be able to obtain required Pennsylvania school clearances:

• Child Line Clearance (Act 151)
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History (Act 34)
• FBI Fingerprinting (Act 114)

• Must pass background check
• Required in-person orientation prior to assignment

• $18.00 – $20.00/hour (based on assignment)
• +$0.25/hour for military veterans and active‑duty service members
• Flexible per diem scheduling
• Opportunity to pick up additional school shifts regularly
• Paid Time Off eligibility (based on hours worked)
• Pathway to long-term or full-time school assignments for strong performers
