Minimum Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
  • Michigan Teacher Certification – highly qualified in subject area for level
  • Endorsement: K-12 in LD, EI, CI, or ASD
  • Recommendations from coworkers or instructors knowledgeable about skills providing instruction to students with disabilities
  • Skilled with documenting services provided to students
  • Ability to balance a caseload of up to 15 students and meet deadlines for paperwork requirements
Preferred
  • Experience teaching elementary/secondary aged students with disabilities
  • Experience working with Power School and Power School Special Education

Salary Data: EFE contract isa
15 step schedule. Bachelor’s lane: $50,831- $82,897. Master’s lane: $55,105- $87,756, plus $3,000 additional on each step for MA+30 or beyond.
