Position
Description:
Provide assistance to students with special needs, prepare educational materials, adapt education plans to student needs, teach concepts in an adapted manner, and help students improve their life skills.
- A minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience (2 in Special Education)
- Master's degree in any area of Special Education
- Skilled with documenting services provided to students
- Ability to balance a caseload of up to 15 students and meet deadlines for paperwork requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret standardized testing results
- Ability to create meaningful IEP goals and objectives
- Ability to analyze academic and behavioral data and adjust instruction based on trends and patterns
- Ability to create specially designed lessons and activities for students with disabilities
- Ability to effectively interact with students with a wide variety of behavioral, emotional, and socio‑economic needs in addition to academic needs

Salary (2026‑27)EFE contract isa
15 step schedule. Bachelor’s lane: $50,831‑$82,897. Master’s lane: $55,105‑$87,756, plus $3,000 additional on each step for MA + 30 or beyond.
