Qualifications/Desired Background:
- Current license or eligibility as a School Psychologist in Michigan
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Previous experience with K-12 school populations preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and consultation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect support to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop intervention plans
- Consult with educators, families, and other professionals regarding students' needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP/504 processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
