Truss Builder
A growing residential construction manufacturer is seeking a Truss Builder to join its production team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, reading build drawings, and contributing to high-quality construction materials used in homebuilding projects. With a consistent weekday schedule, a 4-day workweek, and room to grow within a stable operation, this role offers both reliability and long-term potential.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience in carpentry, truss building, construction, or a related manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to stand for the duration of an entire shift and work effectively in a manufacturing environment

Job duties:
- Read and interpret building drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine truss specifications
- Select, prepare, and handle lumber and other materials for truss assembly
- Assemble roof and floor trusses using hand tools and power tools according to specifications
- Inspect completed trusses to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met
- Follow all safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Maintain accurate documentation of materials used, trusses built, and production issues
