Pay Rate: $16−$31/hour plus $3/Hr shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Shift: 2nd Shift: 3pm–11pm

Job Summary

The Ultrasonic Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring ultrasonic machining equipment to produce precision components that meet customer and quality specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret blueprints and work instructions, and a commitment to producing quality parts in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate Ultrasonic Machining Centers: develop expertise in operating ultrasonic machining equipment within your assigned production line, which may include Aerospace, Semiconductor, MEMS, and other precision manufacturing applications.
  • Cross‑Training: collaborate across production lines to develop a versatile skill set and support operational flexibility.
  • Inspection: use inspection equipment such as CMMs, comparators, and other measurement devices applicable to your manufacturing line to verify product quality.
  • Quality Standards: understand and follow specification requirements, ensuring every machining operation meets customer and company quality standards.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and process documentation to produce parts that meet specifications.
  • Machine Setup and Maintenance: set up and tear down machines while maintaining equipment and tooling in proper working condition.
  • Quality Assurance: inspect finished parts to verify conformance with specification requirements.
  • Documentation: complete production and quality documentation accurately to support traceability and accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement: continuously develop job knowledge and improve processes to support operational excellence.
  • Teamwork: work effectively in both team and independent environments to achieve production and quality objectives.
  • Time Management: manage work efficiently to meet production schedules and priorities.
  • Professional Development: maintain and expand technical knowledge and machining skills through ongoing learning and training.
  • Housekeeping: keep machining stations clean, organized, and safe in accordance with company standards.
  • Quality Procedures: follow all Quality Procedures, Operating Procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Special Projects: perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
