Backroom Team Associate

Job Overview

Stocking associates are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. They spend the majority of their time in the backroom, lifting heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.

• Unload trucks and move freight to the backroom.
• Stock new items on shelves and ensure proper product placement.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized backroom and store environment.
• Assist customers by providing information and helping with purchases.
• Support associates across the store, including checkout and cart collection.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following inventory and safety procedures.

• Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude.
• Stand for long periods while checking out customers quickly and accurately.
• Keep your area clean and presentable.
• Answer customer questions and help them with their needs.
• Be available to assist associates across the store as needed.

• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression.
• Gather carts from the parking lot.
• Operate equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store.
• Clean restrooms, salesfloor, and parking lot as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude in all weather conditions.

• Must be able to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate forklifts and heavy machinery.
• Positive attitude, multitasking skills, and passion for customer service.
• Good physical fitness and stamina for standing and walking for long periods.
