Real Estate Accounting Manager

Position Overview

Our client, a leading real estate company, is adding an Accounting Manager. Real Estate industry experience is strongly a must. Must have experience managing an accounting department.

• Common Area Maintenance (CAM) Accounting
• Budgets, Financial Analysis
• Develops, communicates, and coordinates accounting policies, practices, and procedures
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
• Hands‑on: performs accounting duties, payroll, cash flow, and reconciliation
• Overseeing general ledger closing for all properties
• Scheduling
• Review of journal entries/schedules
• Direct full general ledger responsibility for 20+ properties
• Property management and/or residential construction experience a plus
• Directly manages all employees in the Accounting Department

• BS in Accounting, CPA/MBA a plus

• Yardi Genesis and/or Voyager
• Quick Books
• MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
