Job Title:
Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Equipment
Join a leading specialty manufacturer in Monmouth County, NJ serving top cosmetic and personal care brands. Be part of an innovative team focused on high-speed production, advanced automation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic components on high-speed production equipment
- Upgrade and program machine controls, including PLC systems, and implement process improvements
- Perform equipment overhauls, support new machine builds, and assist engineering with design enhancements
- Conduct root cause analysis, manage maintenance schedules in SAP, and support team training initiatives
- Bachelor"s degree in Engineering
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with packaging or assembly equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems with troubleshooting ability
- Experience reading schematics and programming PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
- Experience leading small teams or project assignments
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP) and continuous improvement processes
Compensation: $35-$40/hour
