Job description:

As the controller, you will report to the CFO in a multi-faceted company. You'll provide hands on controller duties with a mix of Accounting and FP& A work.

What you'll do:

- Manage the day-to-day accounting for the organization with finance team.

- Prepare financial reporting and analysis and provide FP& A support to various stakeholders

- Review payroll, including the cash summary

- Manager the General Ledger (GL) transactions, including cash, and fixed assets

- Oversee revenue, process improvement, and long-term projects (like researching and implementing an expense software solution such as "Expensify" or "SAP Concur")

- Take charge of all journal entries related to GL, bank transactions, accrued expenses, payroll, and more

- Assist with systems implementation

Requirements - Proficiency in managing accounting close processes with attention to detail.

- Strong understanding of the accounting cycle and related operations.

- Expertise in preparing and reviewing accurate accounting entries.

- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.

- Familiarity with General Ledger management, including cash and fixed assets.

- Ability to oversee payroll and expense tracking processes.

- Demonstrated skills in researching and implementing financial tools or systems.

- Background in supporting process improvements and long-term financial projects.
