Senior Accountant

Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise and a proactive approach to solving financial challenges.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead and support the month‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.

+ Prepare and review cash reconciliations across multiple accounts.

+ Record and analyze accruals, prepaid adjustments, and other routine journal entries.

+ Assist with revenue recognition activities and maintain a basic working knowledge of ASC 606.

+ Support the preparation of financial reporting packages, internal management reports, and related schedules.

+ Partner with FP& A to assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.

+ Maintain and improve accounting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

+ Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to investigate variances, resolve issues, and support business initiatives.

+ Participate in audits by preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Requirements - Extensive experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in managing general ledger activities and preparing journal entries.

- Strong ability to perform account and bank reconciliations efficiently.

- Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Proven track record of supporting audits and maintaining compliance with internal controls.
