Location and RoleWe are a Florida-based company with plans for rapid expansion across the state of New Jersey. We currently have 10 offices in Florida and 4 additional offices open in Freehold, Princeton, Brick, and Shrewsbury.
We are seeking a nurse for our Shrewsbury location. Primary orientation will take place in Freehold, and candidates will be required to orient at least one week in Delray Beach, Florida. Accommodations at the expense of the company.
Infusion Registered Nurse – ResponsibilitiesThe Infusion Nurse reports to the Nursing Manager and is responsible for providing clinical services, ensuring quality and adequacy of services, and may supervise staff when required. Key duties include administering clinical care, preparing progress notes, and keeping the Nursing Manager, physicians, and other personnel informed of changes in the client’s condition.
RequirementsInfusion nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of hire (Florida or New Jersey).
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Minimum of five (5) years documented experience; 3–5 years of clinical experience, with 2–5 years in infusion care.
- Exceptional nursing assessment skills.
- Compliance with accepted professional standards of practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and critical thinking.
- Excellent IV skills; ability to start IV lines on difficult patients.
- Pediatric experience a plus.
- Port access experience.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff, and community.
- Treat clients, staff, and public with courtesy, respect and present a positive public image.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance, including OSHA and HIPAA.
- Aware of exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM).
Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull; varied assistance required depending on client ability. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
