We're looking to add a dynamic individual to our team! This is an ideal position for a dependable self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You'll be at the center of delivering strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for payroll duties including understanding and managing multi-state payroll, Fixed asset accounting, daily cash receipts and other general accounting duties.

On any given day, you'll:- Run payroll twice a month and when primary payroll employee is on PTO
- Review quarterly federal and state tax filings
- Complete W-2 review at year end
- Run year end payroll reports for ESOP, audit and as requested
- Financial Statement processing. Work as part of the team in processing the in-house monthly financial statements. Prepare adjusting journal entries, review the general ledger, prepares and/or review subsidiary schedules. Prepares month-end reports.
- Responsible for maintaining the FAS System and related reports. Occasional fixed asset audits. Works with appropriate staff to monitor the transfer of assets, custodian changes, disposals, etc.
- Do the daily deposit and enter daily cash receipts.
- Prepares year-end audit schedules per assignment.
- Other assignments as directed by the Accounting Director.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and establish a professional, welcoming and inclusive environment for anyone working with the accounting department.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products, especially Excel.
- Dependable, organized, flexible, and the ability to multi-task.
- Strong Time management and adaptability skills. Desired skills and experiences:
- Associates Degree in Accounting or business-related field.
- Experience with UKG a plus
