Lippert Aftermarket is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Senior Revenue and Cost Manager to support new product development, standard cost implementation (D365), and ongoing profitability analysis. This role will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Accounting to develop accurate product costing, validate assumptions, and monitor margin performance across the product portfolio.

In addition to business unit responsibilities, this role will dedicate approximately 50% of time supporting Lippert Aftermarket initiatives, including the development and standardization of margin reporting, costing methodologies, and financial analytics tools across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Cost Estimation & Analysis

  • Revenue & Cost Estimation & Analysis
  • Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for new products, including materials, labor, overhead, and capital requirements
  • Collaborate with Product Management during design phases to influence cost-effective product development
  • Create "should-cost" models and scenario analyses to support pricing and sourcing decisions
  • Lead development to enable purchasing to evaluate supplier quotes and validate cost assumptions

Cross
-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales to support pricing strategies and quote development for new business opportunities
  • Work closely with Accounting and Finance to ensure alignment between costing models and financial reporting
  • Engage with Operations and Supply Chain teams to understand manufacturing processes and cost drivers

Margin Optimization

  • Analyze margins on existing products and identify opportunities for cost reduction and profitability improvement
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at cost efficiency and operational excellence
  • Maintain contribution margin (CM) templates

Corporate (Lippert) Collaboration - ~50%

  • Partner with Lippert finance and operational leaders to standardize cost estimation methodologies
  • Assist in developing and implementing margin reporting templates and dashboards
  • Contribute to best practice sharing across business units
  • Support enterprise-level data consistency and reporting improvements

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cost estimating, cost accounting, or financial analysis in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of cost structures, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and manufacturing processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling, data analysis, scenario planning)

Preferred

  • Experience in metal fabrication, automotive, or durable goods manufacturing
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Infor & D365)
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) processes
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or value engineering
