Job Summary:Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) is a statewide service with a robust local presence. In this role, you will report to the Regional Manager and work closely with a team of statewide Outreach Specialists from across the state. Your work will help ensure thatWPR is an integral part of the local community. In this job, youwill help plan and manage details of all external activities including events, community engagement and a regional e-newsletter.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail,demonstrate an open-mindedness for growth and be able to work in independent and collaborative settings, as well as represent WPRprofessionally in public.
This is a part-time, 20-hour-a-week position.
This position is Ongoing/Renewable.
This person is expected to support regional events. As such, thework schedule will require flexibility and will be determined afterhire. Some nights and weekends will be required.
This position requires work be performed in-person at Eau Claire,Wisconsin. Occasional workplace flexibility may be granted depending on business need.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally needed. Ability towork outside in inclement weather may be needed.
Travel is required. Must provide a valid driver's license.
