Job Summary

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and successful execution of additions and remodeling projects. From preconstruction to project closeout, you will manage timelines, budgets, quality control, and safety standards to ensure each project meets Sandvig Construction’s high standards. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members, ensuring seamless communication and delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain realistic project timelines, adjusting as needed for successful completion.
  • Proactively manage preconstruction and bidding processes, including material procurement and subcontractor selection.
  • Create and update project schedules, ensuring team alignment.
  • Identify and address potential issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project details effectively with team members and subcontractors.
  • Visit project sites regularly to monitor progress and ensure compliance with customer expectations, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to team members.
  • Utilize Buildertrend
    (CMS) for project management tasks such as scheduling, task assignment, daily logs, photo assessments, and team communication.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, job costs, labor productivity, cash flow, and billing processes.
  • Issue and obtain approval for change orders before additional work begins.
  • Participate in recurring executive meetings to review project financials.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing exterior construction projects, including siding, windows, doors, decks, and similar structures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (3–5 years of related experience preferred).
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and project drawings.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with a detail-oriented, proactive approach.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
