Job Requirements
We are seeking an entry‑level Patrol Worker/Laborer for the Kenosha County Highway Division. The role involves a variety of year‑round outdoor tasks that help keep State and County roads safe and well maintained.
- Winter maintenance: snow and ice removal, shoveling bridge decks, anti‑icing operations, and operating a loader.
- Road maintenance: road repair, sign placement and flagging for traffic control, concrete work and asphalt paving, crack grinding and sealing, painting road markings.
- Other duties: tree trimming and removal, drainage work and culvert installation, pothole repair, gravel shoulder maintenance, litter pickup and removal of road hazards (animals, wood, metal, etc.).
- Summer maintenance: mowing with flail and batwing mowers.

- Knowledge of safety precautions and procedures.
